We recently stayed at Rancheria Utta for a family vacation and had a memorable experience. The atmosphere is genuine, immersing us in local culture, especially during a wonderful evening event about the Wayuu, the area's indigenous people. While the huts don't have electricity during the day, the fresh towels and standing fan offered comfort as we relaxed in the evenings. The hammocks, available upon request, were perfect for unwinding after a day of windsurfing and fishing. Our kids enjoyed participating in traditional games with local families, which fostered a sense of community. This unique spot doesn't prioritize luxury, but it does provide a welcoming environment for families looking to connect with nature and culture in a meaningful way. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a different vacation vibe!
